Good Reliable Safe

We bought this to secure our gun and ammo for easy quick access. We like that you can use either fingerprint(s), combination or key access. It is very heavy and well made. It has the ability to be bolted in the drawer for extra security.

Just Right

This smaller safe with biometric access is the perfect thing. Everyone should have one of these if you want to safely store a firearm or other sensative items. Works great!

Great pistol safe

Bought two of these for our personal defense pistols in the bedroom. Both the biometric and electronic locks are easy to activate in the dark by touch and the biometric lock is consistent after a little practice placing your finger. Nice heavy gauge box that would take some doing to pry open. Highly recommend after much research and touch testing several different manufacturers models before purchase.

Settled for this one

New to firearms March 16, 2014

Bought this before I bought the gun but after I applied for a permit settled for this one cause I was going to get the square version of the same safe but gander mountain only had this one like one of the concerns I have is it being a plastic front also a little worried about the depth of the safe that's why I only gave it 4 stars other than those two concerns I do like it

not for an emergency

Received as a gift and was excited about the biometric system. Even though it was easy to program, it would take several attempts using ether the fingerprint reader or the pushbutton combination to get the lock to release. When I contacted the company, I was told that the electronic lock was probably defective but I had to have the store receipt for them to fix the issue. Unfortunately my son didn't keep it since I had sent in the registration card. The safe has a really strong feel to it, but I cannot recommend it to be use for a situation which might require getting to a weapon quickly, in a life or death situation.

Happy Customer! November 20, 2014

I bought this safe for $14.99 at Gabriel brothers on McKnight Road in Pittsburgh. I could not believe that the price was $14.99, but it was shipped directly from stock on to Gabriel's and Gabriel's warehouse had that price tag with their barcodes. They must have bought a million of these safes at a great price to be offering them at that little amount. it is very well made for the price and definitely beats the crap out of those cheap $30 digital Harbor Freight safes and theirs don't have biometric access, and in terms of weight and rigidity, this can't be beat for the price. I could probably scrap it and get more than I paid for it from the scrap metal yard, although I will get many many amazing years of use out of this.
